of Engineers well known for their competence and integrity.
Padre Conceicao College of Engineering is part of
the Agnel Ashram family. The Padre Conceição College of
Engineering (PCCE) was established in the year 1997 at Agnel Technical
Education Complex, Verna, Goa. Our core strengths are DISCIPLINE, DEDICATION
AND DETERMINATION.
COMPUTER AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT: The Completely equipped
and well furnished infrastructure of the Computer Department comprises
of 6 labs which are networked together and managed by two powerful Intel
Xeon CPU based Servers running Windows 2003 and Red Hat Linux version
9.0. The Severs support over 200 Linux and Windows based clients. The
college is a member of the Microsoft Academic Alliance. The laboratory
provides a 1 Mbps Leased Line Internet connection.
ETC DEPARTMENT: The ETC department has six laboratories, well equipped
& furnished for providing hands-on-experience to the students in
Basic Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Digital Electronics,
Communication, Instrumenta-tion, VLSI and Microwave Engineering. The
ETC engineering department is actively involved in conducting courses
and workshops on topics of current interest such as VHDL, SPICE and
programming with 8086.
M.E. PROGRAMME IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: The Masters programme (ME)
in Information Technology (with specialization in Internet Technologies)
was started in September 2003.
