GVM’s college of Commerce and Economics started in the year 1986. The institute has a long history and has been center of nationalist activities.

The strength of the college is its congenial and enriching atmosphere, which nurtures and encourages student-teacher interaction and is striving towards excellence.

In March 1998 the college received recognition from University Grants Commission. The BCA course was started keeping in mind the demands of the students and the community at large.

The college has a separate computer laboratory with Internet connection for the BCA students.
