Government College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Sanquelim was established in the year 1988 and has performed well over the years.

The mission of the college is “to strive to give back to society independent learners, positive thinkers, skilled workers and conscientious world citizens perennially in quest of excellence.”

The teaching staff of the college is exposed to regular Faculty Improvement Programmes. Many staff members, including the principal are members of different Statutory Bodies and Board of Studies of Goa University and actively participate in the restructuring and upgrading of the University syllabus from time to time.
